Ask Slide

This is the final slide of your pitch deck, where you let the investor know how much money you need to achieve your goals. This slide can also share your current investment portfolio, your fundraising plan, and your use of funds — or what you plan to do with the money.

The Ask

This is the actual ‘pitch’ of the Pitch Deck, where you tell the investors what you’re seeking and what you plan to do with it.  Show the number you’re seeking prominently on this slide.  It’s very important that you’re confident in this number, and have plans for it.

Current Investment Portfolio

Here you’ll list any past investments, the amounts and organizations or individuals who invested them.

Fundraising Plan

This is a longer term view of your growth plans, and is not necessarily relevant or realistic for early stage companies.  It can, however, show a prospective investor your future plans and bigger vision for the company.

Use of Funds

This is where you’ll tell the investor what you plan to do with the money.  This can be grouped into buckets, for example Development, Marketing, Operations.
