Intro Slide

This is the cover page to your pitch deck. It will be what can be seen as a thumbnail preview of the file if attached to an email, or will be up for the transition to your pitch and through your introduction in a live pitch. Go for clean, but memorable.

Your Cover Page

This slide is the introduction of your business, your audience’s first impression, and should tee up them up for what’s to come. Visually this can be done by keeping things clean and minimal, or choosing engaging graphics that reveal some of the how and why’s behind what you do.

If you’re just starting out, collect content that currently exists about your business. Don’t try to make up answers now. If you don’t have a name for your business, call it something like ‘StartupCo’. Things like your name, and tagline are often best left to the end, once we get down the story and value, and hone in on the brand. If you are further along and have your brand figured out, disregard this and fill it out!

If you’re a little further along and you have a marketing team, they may have graphics and photos to choose from.

Less is more. Keep it simple, yet impactful.
